Individual therapy is the process where that change will happen.
We will meet once or twice a week and spend that valuable time first understanding how you got to where you are now and then help put you on the path to feeling more alive and in control of your future.
We will focus on identifying your concerns – as I learn about your life story, ambitions and goals. Understanding how past experiences have both hindered and enhanced your sense of yourself is a key part of the process.
I can help you develop skills to use in your relationships and in your workplace. Most importantly, we will discover together a path toward feeling better and becoming the unique person you are striving to be.
I have helped many different people over the years.
My clients have had a complex mix of qualities that have shaped who they are: age, gender, skin color, education, religious/spiritual identification (or not), family culture and political beliefs. They have also come with a variety of concerns from experiencing symptoms of sadness, worry and anger, to feeling numb and disconnected.
We all have unique life stories that have helped to shape who we are. Our stories have also contributed to some of the challenges we all face.
